This position is responsible for providing supervision and support to Family Services Coordinators (FSCs) through training, debriefing, and routine real time supervision. In addition, this position, assists the Director of Family Services in a creating a positive and safe environment for training staff to provide quality care to families and in facilitating thorough donation conversations with the goal to increase the number of lives saved by obtaining authorization for donation. This position will be a member of the Management Team helping to design and implement practices which will continue to promote a culture of innovation and quality with respect to ARORA’s Mission.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, counseling/therapy, or related field. A minimum of three (3) years relevant work experience in the health care industry required. A minimum of one year of experience in a supervisory or management position with proven leadership and supervisory skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Graduate degree in social sciences, caring profession, education e.g.: Social Work – M.S.W., Counseling – Family Therapy, Pastoral Care – M.Div., or Education- M.Ed. Four to five years working in a hospital setting providing grief support to families or two to three years of OPO experience specifically in working with donor families.
