The Substance Abuse Prevention Coordinator (SAPC) is responsible for monitoring prevention service contracts with Regional Prevention Providers, community coalitions, counties and other agencies and documentation of related to State and Federal contracts. The SPC will provide technical assistance and training that disseminates the latest substance abuse prevention science research for contracted service providers, community based organizations and coalitions. SAPC will implement statewide evidence-based prevention initiatives based on comprehensive knowledge of effective policies, the Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF) and program guidelines of documented effectiveness.
