The Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences, and the Arts (ASMSA), a campus of the University of Arkansas system, is a two-year residential high school for talented and motivated students in mathematics, sciences and the arts. ASMSA is currently accepting applications for the Admissions Coordinator with a start date no later than September 1, 2019.
This positions requires extensive travel in the fall semesters as well as some weekend obligations throughout the year. The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for expanding ASMSA’s admissions programs including identification, recruitment and selection of qualified students from across the state of Arkansas through direct mail, internet, mobile phone, and personal contact. Requirements: A
Bachelor’s degree required, Masters preferred with at least 2 years’ exp. in related field. Must be an effective public speaker, communicator, and organizer. An ability to relate to students, parents, and school officials is vital.
