The Maintenance Technician is responsible for writing programs and developing control systems. The Maintenance Technician supports the installation, debugging and troubleshooting new and existing automation equipment, to include robotics, vision, feed and assembly systems.
Essential Jobs and ResponsibilitiesAccountable for personal adherence to all applicable Safety, GMP, Food Safety and Plant Policies.Complete a minimum of 2 Observation and 2 Near miss audits per month.Ability to modify programs of PLC, HMI, AC and DC motor controls, and motion controlsAbility to modify programs of industrial communication such as Control Net, Device Net, EthernetUnderstanding of local and national electrical code and its application to industrial settingIndustrial electricity distribution experienceExperience programming and interfacing industrial roboticsExperience programming vision inspection systems for high speed manufacturing processesProvide electrical/mechanical installation support and technical expertiseTroubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical problems. Makes repairs and tests equipment for operationPerforms preventative maintenance on machinery and equipmentAny other duties as may be assigned

Strong organizational skills and communication skills
Education and ExperienceAssociate’s Degree in Electronics, electrical Engineering or Equivalent Education such as military training, OR5+ years’ experience in industrial environment programming and debugging equipment.
Food Safety and GMP manufacturing environment.
Regularly required to walk, lift and carry materials <35 pounds through plant in order to function in the job.
